More SV Pictures

Besides helping plan and prepare for Anna and Robert's engagement party, we got to enjoy a couple of days in Sun Valley doing the things we love.  I went for a hike one morning with my cousin Krista:
We spent almost every morning hanging out at Starbucks.  I love Leo in the background of this picture:
The kids, Ryan and my Dad and I went for a walk around my aunt's neighborhood and saw two bald eagles:

We took the kids up to play at the playground:

I also got this video of Drew at the playground.  His "talking" cracks me up:

Anna & Robert's Engagement Party

This past weekend we took the family up to Sun Valley for Anna & Robert's engagement party.  My aunt KE graciously hosted the party at her beautiful house and my cousin Krista worked her magic with the decorations:

The happy couple:

Although there were many well dressed people at the party, I think these two stole the show:

Everyone wanted their picture taken with them:

And while everyone was enjoying the party upstairs:
These two were having a party of their own downstairs:

Don't you like how most of the pictures I took at the party were of my kids?  I would have loved to take more of the actual party, but when I wasn't taking pictures of the kids I was chasing after them and trying to put them to bed. In heels and dress no less.

I did manage to get a picture of Anna & Robert and their parents.  Collectively I like to call the parents TomBob and the Virginia's (our parents names are Tom and Virginia and Robert's parents names are Bob and Virginia). I even tried to convince Anna to put that on the wedding invitation, but she wouldn't.  I'm still hoping she'll put it in the wedding program though:
And another picture with the parents and siblings (minus Robert's sister Molly who was traveling in India):

Bordskey Party

Since our friends, the Bordner's, are living out of their garage as they remodel their kitchen and our other friends, the Kearney's, just purchased a new camping trailer, we figured it was cause to celebrate.  We put on our best garage/trailer living attire and celebrated well into the night.  The kids really enjoyed the party as well:
I think this is the only decent photo taken of the adults after the kids went to bed:
We always end up having way too much fun with this crew and this party was no exception!  Lots of good laughs, a dog fight, a dog bite and some ritz with easy cheese.
