Boise Baby Shower

This last weekend my sister, Mom, Connie and aunt KE hosted a couples shower in Boise for Ryan and I. We had about 40 of our closest friends and family come over to our house for a BBQ. The weather was very HOT, but that didn't stop us from having a great time. Thank you so much to my sister, Mom, Connie and KE for putting on a great shower and to all of our friends and family that attended. Here are some pictures from the party:
The girls hanging around the dinning room table:
Little Payton Bordner even made it to the party:
As did Delaney Hamilton:
Some guests were able to withstand the heat outside (I was definitely not one of them!):
Ryan and Ryder playing with trains out in the front of the house:
Anna and her boyfriend, Robert, enjoying the party:
My Dad finally was able to get Payton all to himself:
But not for long, as Connie and my Mom wanted to get some baby holding time in as well. I think they had fun practicing for their granddaughter:
Hank definitely had a great time as he crashed at the end of the night:

32 weeks

Can you believe that I only have a couple of months left of this pregnancy? I certainly can't! I have definitely been getting more tired as my due date approaches, but I'm also getting very anxious to meet our little girl. I feel her move around a lot - especially at night when I'm going to bed. She actually got the hiccups the other night which was pretty funny - my stomach kept on moving every time she hiccuped. Ryan and I have started our birthing classes and we had to watch the video of mom's going through natural childbirth. I think this just freaked Ryan out even more and reinforced my decision to get an epidural as soon as I can! The nursery is coming along and I will post pictures of it once it is complete - hopefully within the next couple of weeks. Anyways here are some pictures of Hank and I:In other baby news - the Boise Birthing season is officially upon us. I want to congratulate both the Bordners and Hamiltons on the birth of their baby girls. Delaney Jane Hamilton came into this world last Monday August 4th and Payton Frances Bordner was born a day later, Tuesday August 5th. All moms and babies are doing great.

Bam Jam

This weekend Ryan's friend Vince put on a 3 0n 3 basketball tournament in downtown Boise called Bam Jam. It was pretty amazing - there were over 100 teams and about twenty courts spread throughout BoDo. Ryan was a court monitor at one courts they had set up and I helped out by keeping score for the court he monitored. We worked Friday evening and all day Saturday and I was VERY tired after spending 10 hours in 95 degree heat. I finally got the pregnant swollen ankles that everyone has talked about. Here are some pictures from the tournament: Ryan being the diligent court monitor that he was:
