Mack is in the House

A couple of weeks ago Ryan went and picked up the newest member of our family.  So far things have been going well, I think Ryan would like a little more sleep, but I warned him . . .

I guess it's pretty easy to forget about the lack of sleep when you wake up to this face:

He has been doing well with his crate training:
I just wish he would learn to relax more:
Hanging out with his Dad:
This is where he goes when he's tired and needs some space from the kids:
Smart boy, but I'm not sure how much longer he will fit under there.

Pre-School Graduation

Last week our girl graduated from pre-school. Although it was a bit anti-climatic as she will be going to the same pre-school until kindergarten starts.  I guess it's the experience that counts!

She had fun giggling with her friends on the top level:

They saved the best for last:

All grown up and so ready to start kindergarten in August:

The Rest of May 2014

The rest of May went like this:

We celebrated Uncle Johnny's marriage:

Ryan tells me this all the time - isn't he sweet?:
We hung out in our backyard and caught some bugs:

Everyday some new flowers pop up around our house.  We really love our previous owners for doing all this for us:
We had lazy mornings in bed:

Mom and Dad went on an adults only trip to Vegas:

Lots of trips to the park:
And Drew slept with his sword every night:

The Mack Daddy

A couple weekends ago we went back up to Horseshoe Bend and got to pick out our puppy.  It was actually a lot harder to do than I thought.  I mean how can you just pick one from this pile?:

After about twenty minutes of playing with all of them, we picked the winner.  Introducing Mack, or as we like to call him, The Mack Daddy (other names: Return of the Mack, Mack Attack, Mack & Cheese - I could go on and on people):
He snuggled right up to his Dad:

And he fell in love with Isla.  We put him in her lap and he feel right to sleep.  I think these two are going to become best buds:

We are going to have to monitor this one with the pup though - he loved the puppies a little too much:
Momma with her new boy:
I think we picked a good one:
